Rolled rice is made from premium wholegrain rice that has been steamed and then rolled, flattened, and dried to produce flakes. They are a nice gluten free alternative to rolled oats and can be cooked to a porridge, eaten raw or soaked (like bircher muesli). Rolled rice is not refined therefore it retains all the nutrients and benefits of the whole grain. This easily digestible form of rice can be used to prepare snacks or quick meals, both sweet and savoury.
